sync with Logbook Pro
allow APDL to transfer data to logbook pro for storage, interviews, etc. also allow logbook pro to populate APDL for those just starting so cumulative limits are accurate and don't have to be entered manually.
135 votesThis is completed on the APDL side and export is handled on APDL.net from https://apdl.net/user/export.aspx – the sync with Logbook Pro is a Logbook Pro Desktop feature, not an APDL feature. Logbook Pro Desktop’s next update which will incorporate this is in development and outside the scope of the APDL feature set.

PDF Documentation
the APDL Documentation is great, but not very accessible (internet connectivity required) nor readable (can't read it at all on my iPhone 6). I suggest a PDF version of the documentation be made available for downloading.

Show turn times on duty display.
When you're flying a trip and you go to current duty it shows all the same info as the printed crew card. Except it's missing turn times. Could you add turn times, and in the event that you are delayed show the originally scheduled turn time, and the revised actual turn time available.

CREDIT or DISCOUNT for those who just paid to renew schedule importer! I just paid for two years!
Consider price adjustments or pro rated credit for those who have paid ahead for schedule importer. I'm sure the high price of APDL is rigged to include the costs of schedule importer, but I just paid ahead for two years.
3 votesWhen you purchase APDL the system checks if you have a schedule importer subscription and migrates it into your APDL subscription extending it automatically.

Report Time with Report Time Widget
A report time widget with alarm and notification. Definitely put the report time on the Status Board so it's plain to see. This way we can quickly see when we have to check in.

Layover time and crew meals on current duty page
Just like a pairing, it would be nice to see the layover time between flights. Time to push works but only for the next flight up. It would be nice to see layovers calculated further down the trip
Crew meal placement on the current duty page would be nice as well
1 voteVersion 8 added the time between flights in the leg editor

Save a crew member’s name for the whole trip
Currently I have to enter my FO’s name on every leg. This can be over 20 legs per trip. I should be able to enter the name once and click a box to apply it to each leg. If the FO changes during the trip, I should be able to enter the new name and it automatically saves that name for the duration of the trip, or until I tell it otherwise. And so on...
1 voteThis is already built into APDL. Under Settings/General there is an option for “auto forward crew”. Crew entered will be forwarded when each flight is completed. The intended use sequence is you fly the flight and enter the crew name. When saving, the crew names are forwarded to the next flight. When you open the next flight, they are already there and do not need to be reentered. Deadhead flights stop this autoforward as no crew is on a deadhead, so crew must be reentered once after a deadhead.
If you enter crew names ahead of time before flying the trip, you will have to do as you describe and enter each one.
